VITAL currently operates a rice processing plant with a capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year, the largest in Senegal. To ensure its production, VITAL sources its raw materials (paddy rice) primarily from smallholder farmer cooperatives. VITAL markets high-quality rice under the RIXEL brand. The company also generates revenue from by-products of paddy processing, such as bran and rice hulls.
